Afghanistan Upper House’s appreciation for the activities of Al-Garrafah Foundation- Qatar
The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan’s upper house appreciated the activities of the Al-Garrafah Foundation-Qatar in Afghanistan.
Mohammad Akbar Stanikzai, Second Deputy of Afghanistan’s Upper House, met with Mr. Shahid Javad Allah Rakha, Vice Chairman and CEO of Al-Garrafah Foundation-Qatar, in his office on January 16, 2021.
Mr. Shahid Javad gave information about the activities of the Al-Garrafah Foundation (AGF) in Afghanistan. He added that all projects of the Al-Garrafah Foundation are implemented in coordination with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the National Assembly.
Mohammad Akbar Stanikzai pointed out that which assistance of the Al-Garrafah Foundation has been important for the development of the country. He said, “Construction of Farah airport, establishing an agricultural research farm, and construction of residential blocks in the fifth district of Kabul city are among the important activities of AGF, which have positive effects in solving people’s problems.
He requested for continuation of the organization’s support in Afghanistan while presenting the letter of appreciation to His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al-Thani, owner and founder of AGF, and Mr. Shahid Jawad Allah Rakha.
The second deputy of the Upper House also presented the official Upper House medal and the crystal stand decorated with the Upper House logo to H.E. Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al-Thani and Mr. Shahid Javad Allah Rakha for their cooperation in Afghanistan.
