The first meeting of the Visa Committee was held in detailed cities.


The meeting was chaired by Mohammad Javad Peykar, the head of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, and the participation of the deputies, heads, and departments of the Ministry of Urban and Lands, the Kabul Municipality, the representative of the Al-Gharrafah-Qatar Foundation and the representative of the Tesla Company, the Design Bureau of Qatar. The meeting focused on a detailed Qatar project plan and a committee’s discussion agenda.

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the Ministry of Urban and Land Affairs, Mohammad Javad Pikar, considered the urban sector one of the most important sectors in the country, and to meet government expectations and provide better services to the country’s citizens, to strengthen the level of cooperation and coordination among urban sector entities, Accelerating the process of implementation of activities and rapid implementation of projects.

During the meeting, a detailed Qatar project was presented that was approved after the talks, and it was entrusted to the Kabul Municipality, Water Supply and Urban Channel Department, to present their technical views within a week to complete the plan.

The Qatari project, called Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah bin Thani Al-Thani, with a total area of 69045 square meters, with 786 apartments, 2 schools, 1 mosque with a capacity of 2,000 prayers, and 2 large commercial repairs, will be constructed in Khoshal khan mena palace of Kabul city.
