The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Environmental Protection Agency and the Al-Gharrafah foundation 


On 23 November 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Directorate General of the National Environmental Protection Agency and the Al-Gharrafah Foundation attended by Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al Thani, founder of the Al-Ghrrafah Foundation, Mohammed Shoaib Sabet Governor of Farah, Shah zaman Maivandi, General Director of the National Environmental Protection Agency, members Farah Provincial Council and Heads of Civil Departments Signed in Farah Provincial Meeting Hall.

Mohammed Shoaib Sabet confirmed the signing of the agreement is important for Afghanistan’s environment, adding that it will further develop and expand the activities of the Al-Gharrafah Foundation in Afghanistan.

This agreement has been signed in three environmental sectors in Afghanistan,” said Shah Zaman Meivandi, director general of the National Environmental Protection Agency. This agreement includes sharing the expertise of global experts on the environment, focusing the global environment on improving Afghanistan’s environment and working with the academic sector to improve Afghanistan’s environment.

Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al-Thani said during the signing of the memorandum: “Al-Gharrafah Foundation in Farah province has spent more than $ 100 million on environmental, agricultural, economic, Farah airport development and other development projects.
