Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah bin Thani Al-Thani was born in 1956 in the royal family of Qatar. He finished his university education in 1981 and is currently one of the most famous businessmen in Qatar. He has a prominent role in charity, real estate, and investment activities in Qatar.
Afghanistan people deserve a prosperous and peaceful life after a long war and they should stand on their own feet to build their country. Therefore, I show my good intentions toward the people of Afghanistan by implementing lots of sustainable, infrastructure, and humanitarian projects. These projects create thousands of indirect job opportunities and provide hundreds of permanent jobs to Afghan people.
AL-Gharrafah Foundation (AGF) was registered under license number 408 on the date 23/04/2014 in the Economy Ministry of Afghanistan. AGF is Owned and funded by H.E. Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah bin Thani Al-Thani. AL-Gharrafah Foundation began its activities in Afghanistan after obtaining its license whose achievements were welcomed by the Afghan people. The central office of AGF is in Kabul and has a regional office in Farah province.
