The Al-Garrafa Foundation has constructed a state-of-the-art facility at its farm in the Kheyrabad Plain, Farah Province, dedicated to the breeding and conservation of falcons.
This modern structure adheres to all relevant construction criteria and provides an optimal environment for the falcons, from egg incubation to maturity, thereby contributing significantly to the prevention of their extinction.
The Foundation’s commitment to excellence is further demonstrated through the implementation of practical training workshops for its veterinarians in Qatar. Currently, the facility hired one veterinarian and three specialized workers focused on the breeding and care of these birds. The concerted efforts of these professionals are essential to the success of the conservation initiative.
