The Al-Garrafah Foundation is committed to fulfilling its humanitarian duties by assisting the needy in Afghanistan. Each winter, the Foundation procures essential foodstuffs such as rice, oil, flour, wheat, tea, sugar, blankets, and other necessities. These goods are subsequently distributed to impoverished families identified within various villages of the Kandahar Province.

Distribution of raw materials to the needy in Farah and Kandahar provinces in 2022
Based on the Afghan government’s request, the Al-Garrafah Foundation distributed packages of raw materials to poor families facing many economic problems. These food packages included flour, rice, sugar, beans, tea, and oil, and 5,000 families in Farah and 4,000 families in Kandahar have benefited from this assistance.

300 iftar food packages were distributed daily among the fasting people in different places in Farah and Kabul provinces and also 500 iftar packages were distributed daily in Kandahar province.
