In 2014, Al-Garrafah Foundation embarked on an ambitious agricultural initiative on its farm, initially employing 14 individuals and planting 3,000 date palm seedlings in multiple stages. After three years, these seedlings thrived, and all have now begun to bear fruit. Al-Garrafah Foundation is optimistic that by undertaking this unprecedented agricultural project in Farah Province, it is making significant strides toward advancing the region’s agricultural sector and contributing to the province’s overall development.
in 2016, the Foundation planted 5,000 pomegranate seedlings, which yielded their first harvest after two years. Currently, all the pomegranate trees are bearing excellent fruit.
In the next step, Organization would plant 5000 jujube saplings in 2016 at this agricultural farm. After two years, jujube plants are the first product that can be used.
Al-Gharrafa also planted 2200 pistachios in this farm in 2016. Which after 2 years of pistachio seedlings is linked.
In 2017, organization planted 2,000 grape seedlings in an agricultural farm that yields a good result.
Al-Gharrafa Institute has continued to grow its agricultural land in 2018 with 50 olive seedlings in its agricultural farm.
