Al-Gharrafa organization has started its agricultural activities since 2014, hired 14 people in an agricultural farm and planting 3000 date palms. After 3 years, palm seedlings grew and some of them were cropped. According to farmers and experts of the Al-Gharrafa organization in 2020, the majority of trees will be fruits, Al-Gharrafa is optimistic that it will be able to take an effective step towards improving agriculture in Farah province by implementing this agricultural project in Farah province.
Al-Gharrafa also planted 5000 pomegranate seedlings in 2016 in this agricultural farm. After two years, pomegranate seedlings have been produced, which, according to peasants, should give pomegranate trees more time to be strong and have the ability to harvest the crop.
In the next step, Organization would plant 5000 jujube saplings in 2016 at this agricultural farm. After two years, jujube plants are the first product that can be used.
Al-Gharrafa also planted 2200 pistachios in this farm in 2016. Which after 2 years of pistachio seedlings is linked.
In 2017, organization planted 2,000 grape seedlings in an agricultural farm that yields a good result.
Al-Gharrafa Institute has continued to grow its agricultural land in 2018 with 50 olive seedlings in its agricultural farm.
